Davie County, NC : Brandon Boles and Pablo Cruz killed in a head-on car crash on I-40 in Davie County on Sunday morning, October 19, 2014

The North Carolina Highway Patrol has confirmed two deaths in a crash on Interstate 40 in Davie County. The two-vehicle crash happened before the Farmington Road exit Sunday morning. According to the Highway Patrol, a Ford pickup truck was traveling east in westbound lanes when it hit a Chevrolet pickup head-on. Brandon Bowles, of Stokes County, and Pablo Cruz, of Dudley, were killed in the crash. The vehicle driven by Cruz was traveling east in the westbound lane, troopers told WXII.
