Weber County, UT : One person killed and three adults injured in car crash Highway 167 Snowbasin on Wednesday December 30 2015

A 14-year-old was killed Wednesday in a crash on Highway 167 near Snowbasin.
The boy was riding in a car his father was driving south on Trappers Loop near mile marker 9 when it struck a slick patch about 6 p.m., according to Weber County Sheriff's Lt. Lane Findlay.
We think they hit black ice," Findlay said. "The tires on their car were fairly worn, but we think it was black ice."
The car swerved into the northbound lane and struck a guardrail before colliding with an SUV, Findlay said. The boy died when the SUV struck the car, according to the lieutenant. The boy's father was transported to a hospital and released later Wednesday. The two were wearing seat belts.
