COEUR D'ALENE, ID : Driver killed by falling tree on Seltice Way in Coeur dAlene on Saturday, 4th November 2023

A 68-year-old female driver from Post Falls was killed when her car was struck by a falling tree Saturday morning, according to Idaho State Police.

According to Coeur d'Alene Fire Department Chief Thomas Greif, multiple fire crews were called out to a reported car crash on West Seltice Way.

When they arrived, they found the female driver of the car was crushed by a fallen tree. Greif wasn't yet sure how old the driver was.

Grief said there weren't any other vehicles involved in the deadly crash.
