West Palm Beach, FL : Pedestrian killed in dirt bike crash near Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard and Robbins Drive on Saturday, October 11, 2014

According to West Palm Beach police, a man on a dirt bike struck a woman walking across the street near Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard and Robbins Drive around 9 p.m. Saturday. "According to witnesses, the motorcycle was traveling at well above the posted speed," said West Palm Beach homicide detective Karl Seifel. "The motorcycle is not street legal; no tags, no lights, no brake lights, no nothing." Seifel said the woman was in her 60s and pronounced dead on the scene.
