WOODBRIDGE, VA : Person killed in CT crash on Northrop Road near its intersection with Pine Hill Road on Wednesday, 19th February, 2020

Police are investigating after a person was killed in a one-vehicle crash early Wednesday morning, according to the department.
Sgt. A.J. Cappiello said the crash occurred. on Northrop Road near its intersection with Pine Hill Road just after 6 a.m.
“The accident involved a single vehicle that was traveling southbound on Northrop Road when it drove off the highway and struck a tree,” Cappiello said.
The driver, who was the only person in the car, was taken to Yale New Haven Hospital for treatment, but died, Cappiello said. Their name has not yet been released.
