Fayette, MS : One person dead in Jefferson County accident in Highway 553 on Wednesday December 9 2015

An eyewitness tells us one person is dead following a collision at the intersection of Hwy 553 and Hwy 61, in Jefferson County. That's a 4-way stop on Highway 61 between Dave's store and Dollar General.
An 18-wheeler cab hit a passenger vehicle around 3 p.m.
MHP is on scene. The witness tells us a traffic light is needed at the intersection.
