Molalla, OR : 21-year-old woman died and 2-year-old child injured in a head-on crash on Highway 211 at Bear Meadow Court on Monday, Sep 14, 2015

An 21-year-old woman was killed and a nearly 2-year-old child was seriously injured in a head-on crash on Highway 211 just west of Molalla on Monday.

Rosio Gonzalez of Woodburn died when Oregon State Police said her 2002 Toyota Camry drifted across the centerline and hit a 2012 GMC pickup. A 21-month-old child was in her car and was seriously injured. The child was taken to a hospital.

The crash also seriously injured the driver of the GMC pickup, a 25-year-old man from Silverton. He was also taken to a hospital.

The crash happened at about 10 a.m. on Highway 211 at Bear Meadow Court. Police closed the highway for several hours.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
