JACKSONVILLE, FL : Deadly crash at I-295 eastbound. and Merrill Road on Saturday, 30th November, 2019

A deadly crash at I-295 eastbound. and Merrill Road that happened around 7:25 a.m. has the northbound exit blocked, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The victim has been identified as Brian George, 55, of Jacksonville.

The crash involved a 2002 Mercedes-Benz ML-500 that failed to maintain control while making a turn near Merrill Road, authorities say. The car then struck a concrete barrier wall, ejecting the driver.
