Roanoke, VA : A motorcycle driver died in a crash on April, Sunday 30th 2017
A motorcycle driver died early Sunday after a crash in the 3900 block of Oakland Boulevard near the intersecton of Troy Avenue in Northwest Roanoke, according to an official with the city’s 911 center.
The motorcycle was the only vehicle involved in the accident, which shift supervisor Melody Emerson said occurred at 3:17 a.m.
The driver was male, said Roanoke police spokesman Scott Leamon, but the victim’s name and age were not available Sunday evening.
The driver died at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, Emerson said.
