JACKSONVILLE, FL : 1 dead after high-speed chase on I-95 South ends in crash in Flagler County on Tuesday, 31st October 2023

A person is dead after a carjacking in Duval County led to a high-speed chase into Flagler County, ending with the suspect crashing into the back of a semitrailer traveling south on Interstate 95, according to the Flagler County Sheriff's Office.

At approximately 11:20 a.m. Tuesday, members of the Florida Highway Patrol Jacksonville Regional Communications Center received a call for assistance from the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office in reference to a pursuit involving a carjacking suspect on I-95 South, according to a release.
