Longview, WA : A senior citizen injured in a 4-wheeler accident on April, friday 14th 2017

A senior citizen injured in a 4-wheeler accident Thursday night was flown to a Vancouver hospital with possible spinal injuries, according to Cowlitz 2 Fire & Rescue.
The agency reported that firefighters needed four hours to rescue the man, who was camping west of Longview and who rolled his 4-wheeler down a 20-foot embankment near the Bradley Trail in the Mill Creek area. The man's location and position made it difficult to reach him, according to a Cowlitz 2 press release.He eventually was carried out through a combination of manpower and other 4-wheel drive vehicles. He was taken by ambulance to a landing zone near the incident and was flown to Peace Health Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver by a Life Flight helicopter, according to Cowlitz 2.
The man is in the early 60s, but his name and condition were not available Friday.
