Sevierville, TN : An Alabama man was killed and two others were hurt in crash on Monday, July 13, 2015
An Alabama man was killed and two others were hurt in crash Monday on Interstate 40 West between mile markers 408 and 409 in Sevier County.
According to Bob Stahlke of the City of Sevierville, Barry E. Myers, 61, of Bulls Gap, was driving a Cadillac east on I-40 around 9:45 am when he lost control, crossed over the grass median, and went head-on into traffic headed westbound.
The Cadillac crashed into a Honda CR-V driven by Charlene B. Campbell, 55, of Mobile, Alabama. Her passenger, Michael A. Campbell,,55, also of Mobile, was killed.
Myers and Charlene Campbell were transported to UT Medical Center via LifeStar helicopter.
Traffic on I-40 West was closed at the 412 exit for several hours after the accident.
