Osceola County, FL : 3 family members killed, 1 critically injured in crash on State Road 429 near Kissimmee on Tuesday, 18th February, 2020

Three members of a Massachusetts family were killed in a crash involving four cars on State Road 429 near Kissimmee on Tuesday night, Florida Highway Patrol spokeswoman Kim Montes said.
Scarlett Smith, 5, Julie Smith, 41, and Josephine Fay, 76, were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which occurred near Sinclair Road at about 5:30 p.m.
Jackson Smith, 11, was in critical condition, on life support and unresponsive, Montes said.
Two other children, 10-year-old Shalie Smith and 5-year-old Skylar Smith, were uninjured but taken to the hospital for monitoring. Two adults, 43-year-old Shane Smith and 76-year-old William Fay, were taken by ambulance to Orlando Regional Medical Center in stable condition.
The crash started near mile marker 1 on S.R. 429 when a pickup rear-ended the van carrying the family, Montes said. The van overturned in the impact of the crash.
