EL PASO, TX : 1 person killed, 6 injured in gateway crash near Paisano Dr. on Monday, 30th October 2023

One person died and six others were injured after a pursuit ended in a crash in central El Paso Monday morning.

Troopers with the Texas Department of Public Safety saw a gray Mazda car with a fake license plate speeding on Sunland Park Drive around 1 a.m.

The trooper tried to make a traffic stop but the driver tried to flee and a pursuit began, DPS officials said.
