Bansalem , PA : Truck driver was killed in Multi Vehicle Crash along Interstate 95 after Tractor trailer accident on Thursday , January 15th 2015
State police say a truck driver has been killed in a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 95 that shutdown a portion of the highway nearly all day.
The Bucks County Courier Times reports (http://bit.ly/15acoEj ) that 58-year-old Paul Mirys of Trenton, New Jersey, who was hauling scrap metal in a tractor-trailer, died in the accident. It happened around 1:30 p.m. Thursday on northbound I-95 near the Street Road exit in Bensalem.
A spokeswoman for Sims Metal Management says Mirys was a longtime employee whose death has left co-workers in shock.
Two tractor-trailers and four passenger cars also were involved in the accident. The drivers were not injured.
Northbound traffic was being diverted at the Academy Road exit in Philadelphia.
