Pewaukee, WI : West Allis woman crashes into squad car early Saturday morning, February 13, 2016

A West Allis woman, 23, was hospitalized early Saturday morning after crashing into a Waukesha sheriff deputy's squad car.

A sheriff's deputy attempted around 2:30 a.m. to stop the woman for driving without her lights on. She was driving a Jeep Compass westbound on I-94, through Brookfield. She ignored the officer's siren and kept driving until she struck the median.

The woman drove away from the crash scene and continued down the interstate, eventually crashing into the squad car of another deputy who had just finished a traffic stop.

She taken to Waukesha Memorial Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries and arrested for OWI and eluding.
