Stillwater, OK : Woman injured in wreck after tire blows out in Beaver County on Saturday, December 31, 2016

A 28-year-old Stillwater woman was injured in a single-vehicle wreck on a county road 25 miles south and 9 miles east of Turpin on Dec. 31. Katrina Rosales was transported by Perryton EMS to Ochiltree Hospital in Perrtyon, Texas, in stable condition with head, trunk internal, trunk external, arm and leg injuries.

Rosales was driving a 2007 Dodge 1500 pickup on County Road A in Beaver County at around 3 p.m. when her back, left tire blew out. According to the Oklahoma Department of Public Safety report, the car left the roadway to the right and rolled two times. The vehicle came to rest on its wheels.

According to the trooper's report, the condition of the driver was apparently normal, and the condition of the vehicle was listed as unsafe due to the tires. Also assisting the Oklahoma Highway Patrol was the Texas Highway Patrol and the Perryton EMS.
