Three people were injured in a wrong-way accident that closed the northbound lanes of Interstate 65 in Robertson County for two hours overnight Tuesday.
Smokey Barn News reported that a car was traveling south in the northbound lanes when it collided with another vehicle head-on.
The incident happened near mile marker 117 in Orlinda at about 10:50 p.m.
Two LifeFlight helicopters responded to the scene to transport the victims.
Witnesses reported that someone was extracted from a vehicle and that the car was possibly on fire.
The victims' conditions were not immediately known.
I-65 North reopened at about 1 a.m.
