CALEDONIA, MI : Wisconsin woman injured in Caledonia crash on Monday, 7th January 2019
A pair of vehicles collided just north of Caledonia at about 4:05 p.m. Sunday, sending the driver of one car to the hospital.
The vehicles – a 2008 Chevy Malibu and a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix – were traveling in opposite directions on U.S. Highway 44 near Angus Drive when the two cars collided, according to a Minnesota State Patrol report.
Adam Joseph Forrester, 19, of Caledonia, the driver of the Malibu, was uninjured in the crash. However, Leah Christine Streeter, 17, of Onalaska, Wis., the driver of the Grand Prix, was taken by Caledonia Ambulance to Gundersen Health Systems in La Crosse, the state patrol reported. She was listed in good condition this morning, according to a hospital spokeswoman.The Houston County Sheriff’s Office and Caledonia Police Department also assisted at the scene.
