Montgomery, AL : Jacksonville man killed in crash on Alabama Highway 77 on Tuesday, 28th August 2018

A Jacksonville man was killed in a single-vehicle crash at 11:50 a.m. Tuesday on Alabama Highway 77, according to Alabama State Troopers.

Robert Bryan Howard, 57, was killed when the 1996 Dodge Ram pickup he was driving left the road and overturned. Howard, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger, a 16-year-old male, was airlifted to UAB Hospital.

The crash occurred 10 miles south of Ohatchee. Troopers continue to investigate.
