Root, NY: Tractor trailer accident spills beer across I-90 on Friday, July 24th 2015

A messy accident on the I-90 near exit 28 has crews working to clean up beer bottles and cases which were littered across the Thruway.New York State Police say they responded to the 2 p.m. accident to find an overturned tractor trailer with its roof carved off and much of its haul strewn about. The driver sustained injuries which won’t be life threatening, but a helicopter flew him to an area medical center.The accident is still under investigation.
