MEMPHIS, TN : Garbage truck crashes into house on Wednesday, October 5th 2016

A garbage truck crashed into a home in the Raleigh-Egypt area.

People were inside the home on Cedargreen Cove when the crash happened. Part of the house was ripped open when the truck ran through it.homeowner Erica Holloway said. “When the truck came through my house, this man's eyes was closed and his head was down, so I don't know if it came from the impact or was he in there and he fell asleep."

The crash also did damage to a neighbor’s car.

“It just sounded like a big old crash, like someone just crashed together,” neighbor Asia Perry said.

Police have not released what caused the crash, and it is unclear if any charges will be filed.
