LAS VEGAS, NV : Bus driver suspected of DUI man killed on Thursday, 16th November 2023

An RTC bus driver is facing a DUI charge after allegedly running a red light, hitting and killing a 33-year-old man on a bike in the east Las Vegas valley, according to police.

It happened shortly before 2:56 p.m. on Friday along East Tropicana Avenue and South Nellis Boulevard.

Las Vegas Metropolitan police later determined that the bus driver entered the intersection on a red traffic light and crashed into the left side of the man riding a bicycle.
