Brandon, FL : Tampa motorcyclist killed in Brandon crash on Wednesday night, June 15, 2016

A Tampa motorcyclist was killed Wednesday night when a car turned into his path in Brandon, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers say Ryan Lundy, 30, was riding westbound on State Road 60 around 11:40 p.m. when 18-year-old Katrina Taylor of Brandon, driving a 1998 Ford Escort, traveled in front of him while turning left onto Limona Road.

Lundy died at the scene, troopers say, and Taylor was transported to Brandon Regional Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

Charges are pending, troopers say.
