BERTHOUD, CO : Longmont woman cited in Berthoud crash, rollover on Wednesday, 31st October 2018

A Longmont driver has been cited in a crash west of Berthoud on Wednesday afternoon that sent the driver of the other vehicle to the hospital.

Trooper T. Holloway said that Elizabeth Gugel, 62, pulled her Chrysler Town & Country, northbound on Larimer County Road 21, into the path of a Jeep that was westbound on Larimer County Road 8.

The Jeep struck the front of the minivan, then rolled several times before coming to rest on its side, on the north side of CR 8. The driver of the Jeep, a minor whose name has not been released, was thrown from the vehicle. He was taken by ambulance to McKee Medical Center in Loveland with serious injuries.
