A 39-week pregnant woman has died following a three-vehicle crash that injured six.
The Salina Post reported the woman and five other people were transported to a hospital following the collision with injuries ranging from minor to critical. The woman was able to deliver the baby, but later died from her injuries.
Police said a car ran a red light and collided with a truck carrying two people, causing both vehicles to crash into a minivan transporting five people.
The child was in good condition early Monday.
The driver who ran the red light was treated for injuries and brought to a jail awaiting charges.
