SALINE COUNTY, IL : One dead after crash in Saline County on Saturday, 30th December 2023

An individual is dead after a car crash that occurred Saturday.

Illinois State Police (ISP) responded to the crash on Saturday just after 2 a.m. The incident was on IL Route 13 to the west of Cottage Road.

An officer from ISP has detailed the crash to WSIL. It involved two vehicles. The first was traveling westward when it crossed the center line and hit the second, which was traveling eastward.

The driver of the westward car unfortunately did not survive the crash. The other driver was sent to a nearby hospital.
