Mentor, OH : Driver faces list of charges after Mentor police chase on Sunday evening, September 14, 2014

Officers have a suspect in custody whose car flipped during a police chase Sunday evening. Mentor police said Kyle Dodson, 23, drove off after officials tried to pullover his vehicle that allegedly was in a hit-skip crash in Painesville Township. On Sunday, Dodson exited SR 2 at Center Street and turned onto Bellflower Road. An officer tried to pull him over, but his vehicle sped off on Bellflower Road and hit a fence. Police said his vehicle then went in reverse, striking a police car and continued to flee the scene. Eventually, the car flipped near the entrance to Independence Place Condominiums.
