LOUISVILLE, KY : 1 airlifted to hospital, 3 injured in crash in Elizabethtown on Tuesday, 15th October 2024

Four people were injured in a crash in Elizabethtown Tuesday evening.

E-town police said the crash happened around 8 p.m. in the 2000 block of North Mulberry Street. An initial investigation showed a van with four people was trying to turn left when it failed to yield the right of way to a truck, causing the front of the truck to crash into the side of the van.

Police said one person in the van was seriously injured and had to be flown to University of Louisville Hospital. The other three van passengers received minor injuries. The driver of the truck was not injured.
