Racine County, WI : 56-year-old Cudahy man killed after motorcycle collided with a semi truck on State Highway 83 at Pine St. in Burlington on Friday, July 8, 2016

A 56-year-old Cudahy man was killed Friday when the motorcycle he was riding collided with a semi truck in Racine County, the Sheriff's Office said.

The crash was reported shortly before 10:30 a.m. on State Highway 83 at Pine St. in Burlington, according to a news release from the Racine County Sheriff's Office.

According to the release, the motorcycle was eastbound on Highway 83 when the driver of the westbound semi attempted to turn south onto Pine and collided with the motorcycle.

All traffic signals were working properly at the time of the crash and it appeared that the driver of the truck failed to yield the right of way to the motorcycle operator, according to the release.
