Missoula,MT : Woman killed in head-on crash on may, Thursday 18th 2017

Missoula County Sheriff T.J. McDermott identified the 22-year-old woman killed in a head-on collision Thursday evening on Interstate 90 as Sarah Ottley of Tucson, Arizona.

Ottley was driving east in a Honda about seven miles west of the Bearmouth exit when her car veered across the median into westbound traffic, according to Montana Highway Patrol’s dispatch center. The Honda collided with a Toyota occupied by a 55-year-old driver and her 81-year-old passenger. It was not known why the Honda crossed the median, though drugs, alcohol and speed were not suspected as factors in the crash, according to the Highway Patrol.

Ottley was dead when first responders arrived, according to the Highway Patrol. The driver of the other car was unhurt, but the 81-year-old woman from Cheney, Washington was taken to Providence-St. Patrick Hospital for treatment of her injuries.

All three were wearing their seatbelts, according to the Highway Patrol.
