Las Vegas, NV : Two people severely injured in two-vehicle crash in southwest valley on Monday January 11 2016.
A Texas man was listed in critical condition and a Las Vegas woman in serious condition Monday afternoon after a two-vehicle crash in the southwest valley, Las Vegas police said.
Metro was called to the intersection of Warm Springs Road and Gagnier Boulevard — east of Durango Drive — just after 2:30 p.m., where a sedan and pick-up collided, causing one of the vehicles to roll, Metro spokeswoman Laura Meltzer said.
Tyson Corcoran, 35, was driving a Chevorlet Malibu with 30-year-old Amanda Hyde in the passenger seat, both of Texas. As they were heading west on Warm Springs, their car crossed over the shared center turn lane and into oncoming traffic, hitting a Chevrolet Silverado pickup driven by Heather Ronfeldt, 27, of Las Vegas, crash investigators determined Monday night.
All three were taken to University Medical Center, Meltzer said. Hyde suffered minor injuries while Corcoran suffered critical and the pickup driver, Ronfeldt, was later listed in serious condition.
