Little Rock, AR : Eight Heber Springs football players injured in bus crash on Friday night October 2 2015

Arkansas State Police says a collision involving a bus carrying Heber Springs High School football players has left at least eight people injured.
Authorities say a bus struck a deer early Saturday on Arkansas Highway 5 following a Friday evening football game in Stuttgart and ran off the right side of the highway. Kenny Miller with Arkansas State Police Troop B says the bus was airborne "before the vehicle came to rest in a deep ditch.
The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reports six people were transported to Baptist Health Medical Center in Heber Springs while others were taken to White County Medical Center and airlifted to Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock.
Information about the extent of injuries and the current condition of the injured was not immediately available Saturday morning.
