PHOENIX, AZ : Phoenix police investigating two deadly pedestrian-involved crashes overnight on Wednesday, 3rd January 2024

Phoenix police are investigating two deadly pedestrian-involved crashes in west Phoenix.

The first crash occurred near 51st Avenue and Camelback Road around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Investigators say a man was sleeping in the roadway when a truck struck him. The driver of the truck was processed for DUI, police say.
