Nashville, TN : Woman dead after crashing with semi had struck patch of ice in Evans on Monday, 2nd December, 2019
Police say a driver struck a patch of ice before fatally colliding with a semi Monday morning in Evans.
Police believe the driver, a woman who has not yet been identified by the Weld County Coroner’s Office, was heading north in the 3900 block of Two Rivers Parkway when she struck a patch of ice and lost control of her 2017 Honda Civic. She drifted into the path of a 2007 Kenworth semi truck.
Though the driver of the semi tried avoiding the collision by driving off the right side of the road, the Civic collided with the front left side of the semi. The woman driver of the Civic died, and the driver of the semi was not injured.
