Fort Worth, TX : 32-year-old man dies in single-vehicle crash on I-35 in Denton early Tuesday, March 7, 2017

A 32-year-old man died in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 35 early Tuesday, police said.

The male driver was traveling south on the interstate near Milam Road about 5:45 a.m. when he reportedly lost control of the vehicle, crossed both lanes and crashed into a light pole, said officer Shane Kizer, police spokesman.

The engine separated from the rest of the vehicle when it hit the pole.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim’s name will be released after relatives have been notified.

No other injuries were reported.
