Boynton Beach, FL : Bicyclist killed by dump truck in Boynton Beach on Wednesday, August 13, 2014

Deputies have shut down Lawrence Road, just north of Boynton Beach Boulevard for a fatal bicycle crash on Wednesday. The crash between a garbage truck and a bicyclist happened around 9:50 a.m., according to Palm Beach County Fire Rescue Capt. Albert Borroto. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Traffic homicide investigators are on scene investigating the crash. It is not known when the roadway will be reopened. Deputies are stationed at Lawrence Road and Boynton Beach Boulevard and drivers are asked to find a alternate route as the crash is investigated.
