Arlington, MA : Multiple people seriously injured in car crashes on Saturday September 26 2015.

Police arrested a woman who caused three separate car crashes that seriously injured multiple people.Police were called to the area of Warren Street and Wyman Street around 6 p.m. Saturday for a report of a motor vehicle crash with injuries.Police noticed a three-car crash had occurred at the intersection of Warren Street and Wyman Street.They learned a black sedan, operated by Lillian Claudio, 35, of Winthrop, hit a parked 2003 Ford Explorer head-on, causing the Explorer to spin 360 degrees. A 33-year-old man from Somerville was ejected from the car and was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital with life-threatening injuries.Claudio fled the scene and later drove into the driver’s side of a 2010 Nissan Murano. The man and his passenger were treated for injuries, but did not go to the hospital.Claudio’s black Kia Optima was derailed when it collided with an unoccupied, parked Ford F350 truck head-on in a third incident.Police noticed a heavy odor of alcohol present in Claudio’s car. Five passengers were inside the car, including two children who were not in age-appropriate seats. All five were taken to an area hospital with injuries. The Department of Children and Families was notified of the incident
