SAND SPRINGS, OK : Two in critical condition following Sand Springs motorcycle crash on Saturday, September 16th 2017

A man and woman are in critical condition after getting hit by a car on Highway 51 at 137th West Avenue.
According to police, the Ronny Elliott, 56, and Rebecca Harris, 44, left a bar on their motorcycle because they refused to pay a cover charge. They pulled out in front of a red car driving eastbound at about 65 miles per hour on the highway.
Officers say they believe Elliott was driving under the influence and are investigating whether or not he will be issued a DUI.
The family of three in the red car were headed home from Oklahoma City. Police say they are all OK, just a little shaken up.
When the car collided with the motorcycle, the motorcycle slid at least 1,000 feet.
Police say the couple on the motorcycle were not wearing helmets.
Harris and Elliott were both lifeflighted to St. John's in critical condition with head, chest, arm and leg injuries.
