A crash involving an ATV and two vehicles left passengers with serious injuries Monday night, police said.

Few details about the crash were immediately released. It happened about 7:30 p.m. near the intersection of West 67th Street and Denison Avenue in the city's Stockyards neighborhood, Cleveland police spokeswoman Sgt. Jennifer Ciaccia said.

The crash left individuals with "serious injuries," Ciaccia said. The exact number of passengers hurt wasn't immediately known, and it's unclear which hospital the injured people were taken for treatment.

The department's Accident Investigation Unit was called to the crash scene, Ciaccia said. No police units or bystanders remained at the crash scene as of about 9:30 p.m.
