18 wheeler crashes into work crew Near Huntsville Alabama

Portions of I-65 North Bound were completely closed in Limestone County this morning.

A bad accident happened in Tanner near exit 344 where an 18-wheeler crashed into a work crew.

Officials say the truck hit workers who were filling pot holes.Three men were transported to Huntsville Hospital with serious injuries. Two are in fair condition in the surgical intensive care unit and one is in good condition in the emergency room.

State troopers are still on the scene clearing and investigating the accident. Right now there is only one lane open.

Officials with the Alabama Department of Transportation say crews are still out today working. They ask that drivers use caution and watch their speed.
