Oklahoma authorities say a deputy suffered minor injuries after a suspected drunken driver crashed head-on into his patrol vehicle.
The Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office says Sgt. Jeff Hardin was driving early Monday morning when a pickup truck crossed the center-line and hit him. Officials say Hardin was able to pull the 20-year-old truck driver from his vehicle.

Both men were taken to an area hospital. Hardin suffered minor injuries and the truck driver was cleared by medical staff.

Deputies say the truck driver smelled of alcohol and refused to take a DUI test. He was booked into the Oklahoma County jail on complaints of reckless driving and DUI causing personal injury.
