Granville, PA : Two injured in head-on collision on near 4663 state Route 103 near Blue Bird Lane on Tuesday afternoon, February 14, 2017

Two people were transported to Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital following a two vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon.

At 2:46 p.m. two SUVs crashed head on near 4663 state Route 103 near Blue Bird Lane. According to a news release from Granville Township Police Department, Jennette Brought, of Lewistown, crossed over the double yellow line, hitting a vehicle driven by Michael Woods, of Lewistown.

When emergency crews were dispatched, the Mifflin County Scanner reported possible entrapment in one of the vehicles. However, when fire officials arrived on the scene, it was discovered there was no entrapment.

Brought and Woods were both transported to the hospital for treatment of injuries.

Police were assisted on the scene by Granville and Junction fire companies, Fame EMS and Granville Township Fire Police.
