BROOKHAVEN, GA : 12 injured after fleeing DUI suspect causes chain of crashes on Buford Highway on Thursday, 24th December, 2020

Police say a drunk driver caused a chain reaction crash on Buford Highway that left 12 people injured Thursday afternoon.
Brookhaven police said the driver committed a hit and run crash at the intersection of Buford Highway and North Druid Hills road. He sped through a parking lot, where he hit several more vehicles. He then sped north on Buford Highway until one of his wheels fell off, causing him to lose control and spin into oncoming traffic.
