San Antonio, TX : Sunday morning crash sends mother, son and two others to the hospital on Sunday, 16th October 2016

According to police, a woman driving south on the north bound lane of U.S. 281 Sunday morning about 1:25 a.m. crashed head-on into a small SUV.
The woman had her three-year-old son in her vehicle with her, who suffered major injuries to his leg, both were taken to University Hospital in serious condition, police at the scene say.
The wreck happened on the far South Side. Two women traveling in the in the SUV were airlifted to University Hospital in serious condition.
Emergency services personnel had to use the Jaws of Life to rescue all four.
Police said charges of intoxication assault are pending a blood alcohol test of the wrong-way driver.
