MONROE, GA : One dead in local crash on Tuesday, 25th December 2018

One person died in a local crash over the Christmas weekend, state troopers said.
Details were not immediately available, but the Georgia Department of Public Safety said Monroe-based Post 46 worked a crash with a fatality over the four-day weekend.
Overall, 22 people died across the state as of 6 a.m. Wednesday.
Post 46 serves Newton, Rockdale and Walton counties.
