LAS VEGAS NV :Bicyclist suffers serious injuries in east valley crash, 1 driver arrested for DUI on Tuesday, 2nd July 2024

A bicyclist is in critical condition and a driver was arrested for DUI after an east valley crash late Tuesday night, according to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police.

The crash was reported around 11:47 p.m. on Nellis Boulevard just south of Desert Inn Road, LVMPD said in a statement.

Investigators believe the cyclist, a 59-year-old Las Vegas man, was going north in the southbound lanes when he crossed a center median and entered the northbound lanes.
