ANGOLA, IN : Angola motorcyclist ejected, injured in crash on Sunday, 11th September 2016

One person was taken to the hospital after he’s ejected from his motorcycle. Crews were called to the 3,300 block of Landis Road in Angola around 12:30 Sunday morning.

When officers arrived they found a 51-year-old man laying the ditch. Investigators say the man was traveling West on Landis when he crashed on a curve. The bike went off the Northside of the road and eject the driver.

The Steuben County Sheriff’s Department said he was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries to his head and legs. The man was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. Alcohol is believed to be a factor.

The incident remains under investigation. The Indiana State Police, Steuben County EMS, Angola Fire and Steuben County Communication assisted the Sheriff’s Department.
