Howard County, MD : Woman dies in Howard County crash on Saturday, 24th November 2018

A New Franklin woman died after her vehicle overturned and struck a tree afternoon in Howard County.

Clara Silva, 62, was driving westbound on U.S. 40 when her vehicle ran off the side of the road and hit a ditch. The car overturned and struck a tree before coming to a rest on its roof, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.

The crash occurred around 2 p.m. Friday, and Silva was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident at 2:30 p.m., according to the report.
