Everett, WA : Pedestrian critically injured after being hit by car at 8800 block of Evergreen Way on Saturday, 9th October, 2016

Police say a pedestrian is in critical condition after being hit by a car in Everett on Saturday night.
The crash occurred in the 8800 block of Evergreen Way just before 9:30 p.m. The pedestrian was transported to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett, police said.
The driver stayed at the scene, police said.
The details surrounding the crash were not immediately known, but a Washington State Patrol drug-recognition expert was requested to determine whether impairment may have been a factor, police said.
The crash closed some lanes of Evergreen Way while police investigated.
